Words Don't Always Work

Words can tell the story
And explain things quite good
But when it comes to emotions
Words can't make them understood

It's hard to describe a feeling
Exactly the way it's felt
"Raging mad" isn't angry enough
And "depressed" won't describe my heart that's
melt

"Empty doesn't clarify the loneliness
And "alone" doesn't interpret the pain
"Gloomy" doesn't show the darkness
So how do you expect me to explain

And sometimes words don't always work
Or get the job done right
So I cannot tell you how I feel,
How I feel tonight.
