A dream is a blessing of God
Sent down to the people of earth
We dream until the day we die
And right from the day of birth
A dream is one of the few times
We can let our mind run free
A dream that's old, a dream that's new
They're all the same to me
A dream lets people live
In many more ways that one
We live both day and night
But living in dreams is more fun
A dream always has a purpose
It's God's way of letting us know
How to deal with the present and future
And how He'll always help us grow
A dream is a blessing of God
Given to both you and me
So whenever you have the chance
Lay down and have a dream.
